Club Muso: The entertainment agency run by event professionals.

Club Muso is an entertainment agency that proudly upholds their ethos – to look after both clients and artists equally. Believe it or not, this is a rarity when it comes to an entertainment agency – a lot have priorities in very different places, which can leave you wondering how you got talked into trusting them with booking this huge part of your special day. We are not here to do the bare minimum – we actually care about you and your event. We want you to be blown away, and coming back to us in the future because you not only found the process easy, but enjoyable too.
Behind the scenes, we feel the same about our artists – in the rare occasion of an issue, ‘the client is ALWAYS right because we’re terrified of a negative review’ is not what we believe is the right way to be, we will always be fair, whatever that looks like.

We want to pair you with bands and artists who are happy to be working with us, who feel valued, cared about, and are given the information and tools to help them to create the dream event for you – doesn’t that sound good? Here are our promises: 

CLIENTS
•⁠ ⁠We will do our best to recommend entertainment that fits your brief and budget. Only high quality, professional musicians and artists are represented, who we trust to perform a top quality show for you. This means artists who perform for a living, who are experienced in working in live events, and who take pride in looking after every client.

•⁠ ⁠Our friendly and highly experienced team will support you through the booking and planning process, making it straightforward and simple to navigate. We are here to answer your questions via email or phone, and we want to pair you with the perfect live entertainment for your event. It helps for us to have as much information as possible from the get-go – for example, it’s good to know if your venue only allows bands who can work with a sound limiter, or if you need a band that has no more than 5 performers due to space restrictions etc.

•⁠ ⁠We aim to make our contract and terms easy to navigate. They are designed so that both artists and clients feel safe and secure that they will be treated fairly, and you as a client will receive the level of  service that you’re trusting us with

    •⁠ ⁠After booking, we will make sure you are in touch directly with your act, so you can plan your entertainment and exchange contact details should you need to be in touch. That being said we’re on hand to help at any point, should you need our support.

     

    ARTISTS
    •⁠ ⁠We are musicians and event professionals ourselves – not ‘were’, but ‘are’. We know everything there is to know about organising and performing for live events of all kinds, all over the world. We will make sure you know everything that is helpful to know about the event that you’re quoting for, and will make sure that as the booking process goes along, we are asking your client the right questions and passing on what you need to know, in case you need to amend your offering.

    •⁠ ⁠Our booking contract is fair and our rates transparent. We aren’t attempting to trick you, or ask too much of you – our terms are there to protect both you and your client, all you need to is uphold your end (which should be standard practice!).

    •⁠ ⁠In the uncommon event of an issue arising – we will not simply take the client’s side automatically. We promise to thoroughly look into it and aim to reach a fair conclusion, depending on the issue. There have been times that a client is determined to pull the wool over our eyes simply to try and get some money refunded – we require proof! That being said, if there is an issue that should have been avoided by yourselves, you need to expect that your client may be unhappy with you.

    •⁠ ⁠We are proud of the fruitful and happy working relationships with our artists – in order for this to work, you need to be as prompt as possible with getting back to us, and provide us with any information that may be relevant. The conscientious early birds get the booking!

    MEET THE TEAM:

    Paul Asbridge - Managing Director

    Paul has vast experience in performing for, and organising live events. He is not only a busy touring musician running a high-end luxury Showband, he also arranges music, creates bands, manages bands, owns a production company and has many years of experience when it comes to running a successful entertainment agency.

    His background gives Paul a vast knowledge of all things musical, both behind the scenes, and from a client’s point of view. Club Muso was born out of a desire to create a platform that artists want to be a part of (that is fair, transparent and has their best interests at heart), and that clients feel safe booking with, and Paul is passionate about upholding this standard.

    Melissa Asbridge - Client Liason Director

    Melissa has been working in music and live events since 16 years of age. As a vocalist she has toured all over the world, and continues to do so alongside Club Muso. An outgoing mum of 2, Melissa loves working closely with clients and artists, and relishes helping to create memorable events in a huge range of settings.

    Her vast performance career allows her to be the perfect bridge for clients and artists alike, pairing clients with the perfect entertainment for their needs, allowing for an enjoyable and successful experience from initial booking through to the end of the event.

    Devon Bennett - Business Development Director

    Devon is an integral member of the Club Muso team. Having worked within event production management and artist liaison for many years, he is experienced, trusted and well respected in the industry by both performers and clients.

    His projects include the organisation and running of UK and European Festivals, Corporate Award Shows, Private Events and luxury weddings, and he brings his vast knowledge and experience to Club Muso. Devon is well versed in knowing how to make event entertainment work best, thus ensuring the best experience for Acts, Clients and Guests.

    MAX ASBRIDGE - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

    Max is a highly experienced musician, who is Club Muso’s Artistic Director alongside his busy touring schedule. Since graduating from the University of Liverpool, he has both played for, and created/managed bands for over 10 years. Max is well connected, highly thought of by fellow musicians, and an asset to Club Muso.

    Among other things, his work sees Max looking after Club Muso’s roster of acts, working closely with them to further their success, and creating new, top quality bands that go on to be booked for events all over the UK and abroad. Developing strong working relationships comes easily to Max, and both artists and clients can be assured that they are in safe hands when working with Club Muso.
